Therapy

Deciding to start therapy can be overwhelming, particularly during a difficult time. It’s normal to feel uncertain when choosing a therapist. Unlike the stereotype of a silent therapist who only nods, my approach is fully relational. This meaning that I will engage actively in the process. We'll talk and I will share my experiences of you with you, collaborating with you to find meaning and understanding.

My hope is that throughout our work together, you will find space to experience deeply meaningful conversations, laughter, discovery, and profound empowerment, offering life-changing benefits.

My Approach

My work is rooted in Gestalt Psychotherapy, Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy and is trauma-informed.

Gestalt Psychotherapy

Gestalt is a creative, relational and embodied approach that emphasises self-awareness, personal responsibility, and living in the present moment. Rather than simply talking about your struggles, we explore how you experience them in the here and now, hoping to create opportunities for insight and change.

Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy

I believe that our bodies hold valuable insights into how we experience the world. From the moment we’re born, we express our feelings, needs, and desires through movement —our very first language. In our work together, we’ll explore how the wisdom stored in your body shapes your thoughts, emotions, and the way you relate to yourself and others.

Trauma Informed

Our past experiences, especially difficult or traumatic ones, shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Drawing on insight from neuroscience, interpersonal neurobiology, and sensorimotor psychotherapy, I am sensitive to and prioritise safety, empowerment, and helping you rebuild a sense of agency, presence and vitality, all while respecting your personal journey and goals.

Our sessions together will be tailored to what works best for you, prioritising creating a space where we can move at a pace that feels right for you.
