Oxford (UK) Based UKCP TRAINEE REGISTERED GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPIST MSC | HELPING YOU MOVE TOWARDS GROWTH

Welcome, I’m JULIA-Sophie

I am a UKCP registered trainee Gestalt psychotherapist MSc currently in my 5th year of study at Metanoia — a top-tier psychotherapy training centre, validated by Middlesex University.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Gestalt therapy, a creative, holistic, embodied and humanistic method that fosters personal growth, self-acceptance, deeper self-awareness, helping people to experience more fulfilling lives and relationships.

I have a joint honours degree (BSc) in Psychology and Sport & Exercise Science and a background working in the music industry which further enriches my my practice, allowing me to integrate scientific understanding with a creative, humanistic approach. I am deeply committed to providing support for people who are seeking clarity and change in their lives.

About my approach

Deciding to start therapy can be overwhelming, particularly during a difficult time. It’s normal to feel uncertain when choosing a therapist. Unlike the stereotype of a silent therapist who only nods, I engage actively in the process. I’ll talk, share my experiences of you, and collaborate with you throughout our work together. I believe that therapy can be a space for laughter, discovery, and profound empowerment, offering life-changing benefits.
