ABOUT ME
I am currently in my 4th year of study at Metanoia Institute, a top-tier psychotherapy training institute validated by Middlesex University. My practical experience includes two years as a volunteer counsellor at Oxford charity The Listening Centre (TLC), and one year working with clients at the Metanoia Counselling Service in London. I have also worked as a volunteer at The Beehive in Oxford and completed a Mental Health Familiarisation Portfolio.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and Sport & Exercise Science, with my final dissertation being published in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience. I have significant experience working in the creative industries and as a competing athlete at national level, which gives me a unique understanding of the pressures faced by performers, creative professionals and athletes.
Having lived in various countries and experienced different cultures, I bring a global perspective to my practice. I recognise the significance of social and cultural contexts and incorporate this awareness into my work, creating a space that is inclusive, respectful, and sensitive to each individual’s unique background and experiences. I am fluent in French.
I hold full professional insurance and abide by the ethical principles of the UKCP.
what we explore together
I often include body awareness and somatic practices, as I believe the body offers valuable insights into our emotions and experiences. By exploring physical sensations, we connect with our whole selves—mind, body, and emotion—leading to deeper understanding and meaningful change.
I aim to foster an equal and collaborative relationship with my clients. My focus is on raising awareness of your experiences with curiosity. I believe that acceptance is the foundation for change—and that sometimes, the change needed is simply to understand and accept yourself more fully.

Unlike the stereotype of a silent therapist who only nods, I engage actively in the process. I’ll talk, share my experiences of you, and collaborate with you throughout our work together. Therapy can be a space for laughter, discovery, and profound empowerment, offering life-changing benefits to countless people.
using the therapeutic relationship
Many people seek support from mental health practitioners due to dissatisfaction in their relationships. During our sessions, we will naturally respond to each other’s presence, creating an opportunity to explore how you engage in relationships.
For instance, if you’re struggling to meet your needs, we can examine how you express those needs with me. How do you communicate them? How do I respond? Together, we can explore the meanings you attach to your desires and to my responses, gaining insight into your patterns and dynamics in relationships.
WHAT IS GESTALT?
Gestalt is a holistic approach that helps us become more aware of what we do in the present that isn’t serving us.
The term "Gestalt" comes from German, and has no exact English translation. It encompasses ideas such as shape, configuration, and pattern. In psychology, Gestalt refers to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. For example, consider how we use words: though a word is formed from individual letters, its meaning extends far beyond them. Similarly, a person is much more than just the sum of their individual personality traits.
